Far Corfe: The Great Yuzzem Giveaway Part 2 - Giving it Away

The Eponymous Yuzzem of the Giveaway
Quick post today, not much more business than announcing the winner of the Bob Olley customised Yuzzem that I mentioned in my last one. I'm grateful to everyone that took the time to read that post, and even more so to those that left a comment and entered the competition as well.

I was seriously tempted by some of the reasons that people gave for why they thought they deserved to get their hands on the Yuzzem, and I almost chose to give him (or her, as I have no idea how you'd even begin to sex a Yuzzem) to the guy who wanted to add him to an Eldar army with a Harlequin style wax and perm.

But in the end, I had to choose to give the mini to Axiom of the Magpie and Old Lead blog (which you can find here), as he mentioned adding the guy to his already interesting and varied collection of alien mercenary scum that he regularly showcases there and on social media.

Axiom's work has been a constant source of delight and inspiration to me in the time that I've followed his blog, leading me to choose to work on several of the projects that the posts on my own have showcased as well. And in addition to that, he's almost always positive and encouraging when interacting with his fellow hobbyists as well.

So consolations to the other entrants, and congratulations to Axiom, whom I hope will share the paintjob he does on the Yuzzem as soon as I can get it in the post to him.

And in the meantime, here's a couple of shots of what I have on the table and ready to be painted...

  1. Can't wait to do the Yuzzem justice! Really delighted to be selected - thanks!

Love those creepy spectre-cultists from your WIP pics. I'm really interested to see how those turn out.
